Nafasi's Hope is Darkness

The day was bright and it wasn’t in Hellhound’s habit to be up at such an hour, but the time had come and he could hardly sleep that night, for he wasn’t used to and decided to skip it for later. There in the woods, Hellhound was searching and gathering herbs that he used to capture so nafasians. Those herbs had the characteristic to dissipate the gizan smell, thought it was making the lion smell a strappingly smell of herbs that wasn’t the most enjoyable. The goal was precise: Hellhound wanted to make sure that if he was caught the Gizans wouldn’t know who he was helping, thus if they would just guess it themselves, they wouldn’t be able to recognize Jasper’s scent and so, they’d be unable to track him down.

Nervous, anxious and feeling incredibly awful, for he knew he was betraying his own pride, it’s with a low stance that Hellhound would then head toward the mountains, that meeting place they both had with a mouthful of herbs making his tongue go numbs. The sun was harsh and the rain seemed far away now, if it wasn’t from that river that still looked as if it was going to flood the land and raged thundering noise in the valley. Hellhound was prudent on the step way rocky and slippery way that led toward the upper caves where he knew his brother would be waiting for him. His tail slowly lift, his worried and tired face slowly lit as he approached.

Hiding out in a cave, high on a mountainous area, Jasper waited the day his brother would come with what he promised. His cubs. Jasper was looking better now that he had more food and water then he had in the Nafasian territory that seemed to be lacking much of any prey.

Here on the mountains however, were many kinds of animals Jasper was able to hunt. With the fact he was now fed, Jasper regained his strong , and fairly regal appearance. He heard the shifting of rocks outside the cave, and lowered himself on the edge of the platform, just outside the mouth of the cave, making him virtually invisible to whoever was below. As his violet eyes peered over the edge, he sighed in relief. It was who he had been awaiting, Kibwana, finally. Though he was lacking any cubs. Jasper saw in his mouth some.. plants?

The smell that came from them wasn't the most pleasant of smells, so Jasper looked down at his brother with a confused look. He sat up, to make himself visible against the rocky slopes so his brother could see him. "What's that?" He questioned softly, but loud enough for his sibling to be able hear. Jasper awaited the answer, sitting there, eye brow cocked in confusion.

Kibwana’s eyes were down, looking much more over his steps than checking around for any danger. The confident lion was in his mind when a familiar voice didn’t called for him, but asked him something. A smile parted his lips as he turned toward his brother.Jasper was on a step ledge, watching him from above like some regal and proud king. That thought made him smile only for a second. Kibwana slowly crouched down, then jumped up to start climbing.

Making the few distance between them, Kibwana would first sit, then slowly drop the herbs, then un-glue those hanging from his mouth. Taking time to lick his lips and close his mouth again with those futile try to get the taste away, he would then sit straight and extend his ‘herbfull’ paw toward his brother.
“This his herbs. You rub those against your fur, or against the rock floor, then roll in it it takes a while but fade your normal scent away. I don’t want anyone to recognize you as a Nafasi... or track you down when I’ll bring your cubs. I would do this at night, when some Gizans that keep guard are asleep. Tonight? Would you be ready, brother?” He then narrowed his eyes, thinking about something, any flaw in his plan, but he couldn’t see any right away.

Jasper looked blankly at the herbs on the ground, some saliva from his brother’s mouth on them. His violet eyes then travel to his brother, who sat a little bit away from him. Nodding,
"Smart", he said as he looked back at the herbs. A smile rose to his maw. This was happening, he'd meet his cubs thanks to his brother. Jasper took the herbs in his paw then placed them on the ground just in front of him.

"I'll be ready tonight, yes. Where will we meet?" He asked. He need to be in the spot Kibwana could get to quickly and easily for this to work, and now with these herbs the chances of his brother risking getting in trouble dropped. Even if it was only a small drop, the chance was lower now no doubt. This also would mean he could take his, and Layla's cubs from Giza without being followed easily. Jasper could feel the adrenaline in him start pump in, but he kept a calm demeanor.

Kibwanna cockily smirked, letting out a chuckle as he was complimented on his plan. He knew it would all be just fine and all, but he couldn’t help his heartbeat fastening, even if he was keeping calm. It was because he knew after this his life would turn... he couldn’t possibly see his brother again before long, then surely couldn’t see his pride the same way, even thought his love wasn’t conditional about this: all his life he had spent with those lions, no he couldn’t hate them, no matter what.

Kibwana would feel rather calm now as his brother took the herbs and that he was in the mountains. Never was he followed there: the place was way too dangerous and the steps where quite an hard job to handle. This was the perfect place, yet he had to keep in mind that he had cubs to transport.
“There is two of them: I can’t get too high in the mountains: You see that river? I’ll go the path above it, so it won’t be too dangerous for them, yet not too close from Giza.” He explained, lifting a paw to motion and support what he was saying.

“You’ll have to help me quick and then I’ll help you bring them up to Nyandazaa.” He said with a nod, closing his eyes on that second, thought he knew he could be attacked... and wasn’t sure that Jasper was accepted in that pride, but what was sure was that he couldn’t care for two all alone in the mountain and a step and dangerous ground.

Jasper followed his gaze to where Kibwana pointed out. Examining the area his brother spoke of. With nod Jasper smiled.
"That'll work."

He agreed. Kibwana's plan was defiantly a plausible plot. Japser looked to the herbs again, "How long will they stay effective?" Jasper motioned to the herbs. He'd need to know this or he wont be masked by them for the proper amount of time. He then wondered on how he'd go about joining Nyandazaa. His cubs would need others to help them, and living in a pride environment could keep them safer. Especially if lions search for them. He'd need to mask the gizan scent on them also, otherwise Jasper would be forced to tell them their real story... that could become a weakness, knowing their true identity among the Nafasi pride... That much Jasper would do his best to protect till the time was right.
"You think these Nyandazaa will accept us?" Jasper wondered aloud.

“Yes and I hope those won’t have to be, if you see what I mean... Let’s hope nobody follows me.” He simply said, nodding, then he narrowed his eyes, pondering about the answer from his brother’s question.

“I’d say it remain effective about hours and slowly fade, so even your scent mixed with those will be wrong... that unless you fall in water, or you know... the smell isn’t real nice: so you can wash it off after!” he chuckled and turned toward Giza again, but didn’t moved, enjoying just little seconds with his brother... hesitating, while his body would tense, adrenaline already there as he prepared himself mentally.

His brother’s question were always so ridiculously sharing his awful lack of confidence! That made him chuckle and he only turned toward his brother with a smirk.
“Brother... I think you should at least give it a try... your cubs surely doesn’t deserve to hide alone in a cave all their lives.” He answered to his brother, oblivious that it was a rhetorical question and his brother wasn’t truly talking to him. Kibwana approached him, head-butting him before he could speak again.

“It’ll be alright, ok? You silly...” he chuckled, then patted at his shoulders before slightly hugging him. The male would then silently pull away and turn toward Giza, didn’t walked away just yet.

"If we move fast enough I doubt anyone would even notice." Jasper said thinking on the subject of his brother being caught, but shrugged. The chances were slim now. He knew his brother could do it and didn't doubt his skills.

He then figured the time he should apply the herbs, so that they'd be effective when the plan was in session. He'd roll in them right before leaving to the 'meeting spot' Near the river that Kibwana pointed out. Jasper gazed at nothing in particular, just thinking. But he was interrupted in his thoughts by his brother giving him words of encouragement on joining Nyandazaa. Jasper simply nodded, realizing he said what he thought aloud and Kibwana thought he spoke to him.

He appreciated the words of encouragement however. He nodded again,

"it will be alright...yes." He agreed again. Jasper was a lot more, humble now that he wasn't on the brink of starving, much like when he and Kibwana met up for the first time in a while. He thought more rationally, and it was obvious in his appearance. He seemed less, cocky. Jasper hugged Kibwana, wanting to since this could be the last time he ever would see his brother after his cubs were rescued. He looked at Kibwana as he started for Giza. Feeling like he was forgetting something.. What was he to say now? He stood up and watched his sibling not walking quite yet.

"Kibwana!" Jasper paused a moment. "Thank you for this."

Kibwana was thinking. A corpse... a recent corpse... small. His eyes narrowed, then his brother spoke again, chasing him from his thought right as he was about to leave. He turned slightly to him and nodded humbly before he would leave. He knew now, what he would do... it was clear since when he actually explained it to the lioness that was Jasper’s mate.

It wasn’t very long for Kibwana to find a corpse around the land. Hellhound wouldn’t get it all down, instead he rose his nose and jumped at an hanging leg, hanging a bit in the air before it would break with a terrible cracking sound. He chuckled a muffled laugh, then narrowed his eyes. The guards. It was sure he couldn’t bring this right away. Hellhound had to lure those away, if they were more than just one. Last time he knew there was only Desira’s scent around and he doubted that with cubs she’d be there at this time, no matter that they were a bit older by now. Good spirits, time went fast! How many cubs did she has exactly? His minds would then wander toward his own cubs as he neared the holes of the slaves. Leaning near a tree, he hid the lion leg, it’s scent was matching that of the forest, yet he knew down those hole it didn’t smell more than humid dust.

The male would then discuss with the guards for a while. Speaking about the Queen and her plan to make those holes bigger, telling them the necessary ‘tools’ to get  to make that hole more entertaining. Oh, Hellhound knew she wanted to make them fight against each others, the issues were unsure, but the weak wouldn’t make it. Hellhound lost no time once the guards moved away. Already had explained the plan to the dark female, he ran to fetch that poor dead hanging lion and threw it down.

“Now listen carefully... That is for your cub’s sake... rub that leg over, make that stench assault your hole... they must think your cubs were dead and that maybe you went crazy or something... can you do this? I really need you now, to make it look realistic...”

Hellhound leaned over the pit, extending his paws and waiting for the lioness to help him get those sleepin cubs out.

Layla had been spending a lot of time talking to her cubs, playing with them and just watching them sleep as day turned to night. Ever since Hellhound came to with a plan to get them out of here... She didn't want to miss out of anything they did and being holed up in here sort of helped her spend more time with her growing cub. Though as the days wore on she began to think their uncle had forgotten about the plan and wouldn't come for them.

She sure hoped he didn't... they needed to get out as soon as possible. She saw the way the guards eyed her cub they were some sort of prey, but she knew why they were looking. They wanted them... because their Queen wanted them as members of the pride. She would often bare her teeth, snarl at them or yell things at them that made them laugh and eventually stop watching the two little girls. They probably thought Layla was insane and that suited her perfectly fine. Let them think what they want and she
would show them what insane really was if she was given the chance.

As she rested her head on her paws and watched Sanaa and Kari sleep peacefully she perked her head up hearing voices above her. This caused her to raise her head and soon the voiced died down and she heard approaching paw prints. Her ears fell now for she thought they were going to take her cubs from her now, but when Hellhound showed his face and didn't spare anytime for pleasantries her face looked more relieved. That relief turned to seriousness once he told her what she had to do then proceeded to extend his paw for her to help with the cubs. Looking down at them for a moment and blinked sadly.

She was happy he had remembered the plan, but it was still sad nonetheless for a mother to give her cubs possibly forever depending on what the future had in store for her. She nuzzled Kari and then Sanaa before picking up Kari and carrying her over to the male, waiting for him to take her. Once he had the cubs and had left she would follow his instructions and make it look like she went mental in the hole. The leg smelled worse than she thought and almost gagged for a moment.

Once Helly had Kari she backed up, before turning to pick Sanaa up and do the same as before. And once he had both cubs and stared at them for a few moments, but realized they didn't have much time so she looked up at the lion and sighed. She pointed a nose to one of the cubs,

"That one is Kari.. and this one," she pointed to the other;
"Is Sanaa. Remember their names and which one is which please. I don't need Jasper mixing our daughters up." She said in a hurried tone before turning away from him more or so she didn't start crying in front of him and risk waking the cubs and alerting some guards that could be nearby.

Hellhound would sure not wait for her to start crying, or puking from the scent. What a weak little one... thought it was cruel to think this, he was a little impatient and had all the reasons to be for it was sure the most dangerous part: still in Giza and hellhound sure didn’t wanted to just had picked the cubs for the Gizans to take. If he was found, he could hardly get away with it.

The male looked at the two cubs, then smirked at the lioness before his face would change to a more serious one and nod. No time for any kind of pleasantries... nor any words now... not now and probably never around this lioness. The male looked around for vines he could use to carry both of the cubs at the same time and after a while, those cubs were in a shrub, away from the guards’ sight, where he could pick those up and finish preparing them a short of improvised harness for the transport. No need for Hellhound to stay around now that they had what they needed for whatever sins Nyoka was up to.  It took him a while, but now, Hellhound was heading toward the mountain with the cubs now awake and totally... hard to manage. They were restless: they wanted to be everywhere at once, climb there or there. He could hardly even move fast enough away from giza. Where... how.... He growled, bringing back a cub toward him and pushing the other to climb up the mountain path. Please... let it be no eagle of some short... no predator... How he wished to have asked Jasper to come closer from the border: he would have helped him transport those two cubs.

After a long and terrifyingly awful walk with the excited cubs, Hellhound could finally see the river and the path that would go over. He sighed, seeking for his brother by sight, ready to ‘desperately’ call for help.

Jasper had been waiting in the spot His brother told him to, his scent masked in the herbs Kibwana gave him previously. Jasper stood, no time for sitting or relaxing. He'd need to be ready to run if Kibwana and his cubs were chased. Jasper finally caught sight of Kibwana, He ran over to him, meeting him halfway. He looked at the pouch crafted from vine like things. He saw a small paw go in and out of it for a brief second. Now, Jasper knew at least one cub was safe, and since there was a pouch, he assumed there was another.

"Kibwana!"

Jasper said in a hushed, but strong enough tone to let his brother know he was there now.

"You did it!" Jasper quietly said looking at the carrier, then over Kibwana's shoulder to see if he was followed or not. Seeing no one at the moment he met his brothers eyes again, but he couldn't help but look at the vine carrier. Catching sight of more of the cubs. Seeing their orangey fur made something click in his head, and he suddenly feeling very protective.

"I can take them now, you probably should hurry back before your pride notices your missing." Jasper said in a hush, but quick voice.

Nyoka crouched, stone still, in the dark shadows beyond view of Hellhound and most certainly out of the sight of the lioness in the pit. She repressed a growl deep in her throat, claws unsheathing to dig at the ground below her. How could he? Her old comrade, acting against his own pride.

What had happened to his loyalty? Had he ever been actually loyal, though, or merely obeying the orders of his new Queen? He'd been loyal to Adilah, that was known, but to her? Many did not seem to like the fact that Nyoka had been promoted to Queenship, even if Adilah had been the one to do it. It chafed the lioness.

She was doing her best to make the pride stronger, but it always felt like she was being fought against. Anger flaring in her chest, she slipped through the shadows as the male left with the bundle of cubs. She kept far behind him, sticking to the darkness, and stalked him like only a lioness could. The going was slow, with him moving slow due to the rambunctious cubs and herself moving slow just to keep from being discovered yet.

But in time, and far from Giza lands, it seemed they'd arrived at Hellhound's destination. A more brown shaded lion, also with a curly mane, approached and Nyoka's lips lifted in a silent snarling motion. She heard the stranger's words, and at this moment the Queen rose from her hiding place and approached with a furious face and extended claws.
"I'm afraid it's too late for that." she growled, eyes snapping over to Hellhound, "What is this treason?" her hackles bristled.

Hellhound fought the urge to just race on the other side of the river, smile appearing on his face. Thought no words came from him, for the guard was a bit too rushed or tired to just call out for his brother and enter a playful antic. To him, the goodbyes were done previously that day and he felt no need to enter into any drama nor feels.

Hellhound would give the cubs, turn his back and leave. Still, the comment made him chuckle, his face narrowing to a slightly arrogant one as to say ‘of course I did it, what not?’The lion leaned down, careful now so the pouch wouldn’t roll down the hill and crashes down. His brother would request him to leave, to be fast and Hellhound couldn’t feel more thankful: the stress of this had finally caught him and a warm sensation seized him, for his brother’s sentence was hardly done when a voice would break the silence with a great tactful sense of irony.

Hellhound whips around, looking sideway at the Queen, then his gaze would return to his brother for only a second, without emotions, without any trace of defeat nor fear, nodding him into action quickly: he had to flee for the cub’s sake... and... His brother was better not dare approach Nyoka, for that was something Hellhound alone had to face and assume his own actions, his brother’s nose had no place in this.

Nyoka... his gaze wasn’t totally emotionless, this dumb fate, but what could be said? He couldn’t act in his normal mocking tone, not just yet. His tail flickered to the side and his stance straightened slowly, eyes remaining in contact with the queens. It’s with a sour taste, he remained silent, raising a paw in mid-air as to walk to her, his movement stopped.

“Treason, it is?” he whispered, making move a bit more toward her, head tilting only a bit while the amusement of the irony took hold of him, a slight smile appearing. It wasn’t an arrogant nor a stressful one, but a weird kind of un-faked innocent one, as if only his brother’s presence held him from being natural, as if with a natural understanding she’d know it wasn’t the case. However, Hellhound just knew he wouldn't nor could lie to his 'friend', only win time for now that is, unless she would tell him whatever order instead of staring at him with fire-like angered eyes.

Jasper looked up suddenly, A lioness with quills in her neck tuft appeared from what seemed thin air, and was clearly un-happy. Her tone and attitude towards what he said moments ago were all the evidence he needed to confirm that.

Jasper looked to his brother quickly wondering if he should say good bye... but they already said their good byes earlier that day... And Jasper promised Kibwana he wouldn't be a hero...
So Jasper took the cubs quickly. Nodded to Kibwana curtly as if to say a final, silent good bye, looked at the lioness once again cautiously. He squinted his eyes at her, and started to back away with his cubs. He soon was behind Kibwana, then he turned abruptly and ran. Luckily, Jasper was a fairly fast runner. Though he had to make sure the cubs stay safe so he was slowed by that. Hopefully Kibwana could talk his way out of this, and hopefully Jasper wasn't followed. In the back of his mind he felt like he knew how this would end up, but silently begged it wouldn't end this way.

He never looked back. Not for a moment. He just ran the route he found that would get him where he needed to go as quickly as possible. He was to focused at the moment to tell if anyone was behind him.

Nyoka's eyes jolted to the brown male as he took off with the cubs, and a snarl rippled through her, teeth flashing in the light, as she slid her claws out and snapped her gaze up to Hellhound:
"Oh, you don't think so?" she asked in a snarling sarcastic tone.
"You just gave away two potential future Giza members to our enemy."

Her tail whipped madly behind her,
"Behind my back! You smuggled two of our captives out of our lands. Yes, Hellhound, in case you aren't aware that is treason." She paced in front of the larger male, wanting to lash out at him, to strike him, to strangle him with his own curls. But she would hear him out. It was the least she could do for someone she'd once trusted so much.

“I don’t think so...” he let out a quiet nervous chuckle,

“That’s nothing so personal.” he only answered to her 'rhetorical' question, this time his smile growing into something that looked like a snarl then remained silent for a moment, pondering, trapped.

“What I gave away is a key to another land... and those cubs were too old anyway. Now I there is many lions now that trust me there... only because of this, I can go and do as I please in that land... but that surely did cost something.”
He growled, shaking his head and denying the deception he could feel from that dreadful lie and everything out painfully, he knew he wouldn’t be able to lie much longer to her, in fact he didn’t knew if he was able to fulfill what he wanted to and felt like an insane one, for he knew he had all to loose... the stress.... had to hide it.

Hellhound’s tail whipped behind him, answering her threat with a defensive posture. Her anger seemed like it was hardly something he could deal with or change. Hellhound remained there, his head slowly tilting as he waited for a reaction from her, eyes softening his stance looked much more like one of a guard waiting for something like an order or for retribution without flinching but accepting and assuming what he did entirely... besides from the lies...

Pausing in her pacing before Hellhound, she turned infuriated eyes up to him.
"Why did you not inform me of these plans, then?" she asked sharply, moving towards him to thrust her face close to his angrily,
"I told you you could do as you please, but I had in mind that you would keep your Queen informed." she growled.

"I trusted you, Hellhound. Now I feel I'm not sure of that." she turned away from him and stood with her back to the lion, glaring out over the Giza lands that spread far and out bellow them.

His plan was clever, she would admit that, but she did not like being made a fool of. She needed to know what was going on in her Pride and felt betrayed by Hellhound's secretive actions.

Hellhound felt dizzy for a second, as if he would throw up his dinner or something. The male remained with a respectful stance, his eyes squinting a bit as she came close to him to rant. His mouth opened, then closed as if his words didn’t wanted to come out, then his head lowered and it’s with a compliant voice that he answered.
“But... I never informed anyone of my plans in the past... n~never... not to Adilah: I wouldn’t say words... I was too...” he didn’t kept that sentence, it would blow out his brother's cover or just start ranting about himself and snap. Huffing, he continued on another subject:

“I only did spoke, always, when I was sure the plan could work... I changed so many... it... it would have been so much easier if you didn’t found me...”

Hellhound said as the Queen turned her back, his gaze would follow her and he rose, heart beating fast and feeling as if something was missing. Hellhound wasn’t use to be treated as an equal on that matter. All the stress, the fear and the fact he was right now something disgusting to his own eyes: that sudden bold feeling grew into an untamed raging and ravenous wild fire that glittered through his azure eyes that were locked on her back. His eyes narrowed and his posture was in midway to the one he had long ago, while hunting for lions in the valley with that very same lioness. He tilted his head, trying to fight it off, waiting for her to turn... make her talk.
"What is it?" that question sounded almost like a reproach, as if he was irritated that she was now turning her back on him, and he was.

"You know I would have approved of his plan of yours."
she grumbled, turning her head to stare at him over her shoulder,

"I do not appreciate being kept in the dark on the going ons of my pride. I feel like you've taken advantage of me, Hellhound."

her fur bristled, only momentarily, and before she worked herself into more of a rage the Queen began to step down the slope, heading back for Giza lands at a slow pace. What could she do? She would not deny his plan, for it was a good one. She would not punish him, because it was a clever idea even if he had kept it from her. So the only thing she could do was walk away.

“What wouldn't I know? I, Nyoka, I didn’t planned it...” Hellhound would admit, his leg shaking a bit out of something he could only call very much mixed feelings that were collapsing, yet he let it slip out, for being in control like she was wasn’t much his strength, or maybe he had kept it for too long... from the kindness she showed as he was lying to her, out of disgust toward himself, he snapped.
“And you wouldn’t feel like you’d been played if you wouldn’t have put your pale nose in my business.” He growled in her back as she was about to walk away and when he noticed she was indeed about to walk away, his anger would only flow down in words, acting like a mirror he felt she was playing him now.

“So... that is all?! Why would you treat me like this?” he says out of his breath.

“I’m just a low guard kept outside the borders....” he growled,

“Merely even a gizan.”

Nyoka turned in her tracks, whirling as her muzzle wrinkled up in another growl.
"Everything is my business in Giza Msitu, Hellhound!"

She roared, slapping at the ground and tearing up clods of dirt with her extended claws.
"It is my duty to protect this pride and make it stronger!" she advanced towards him again, ears flat against her head,
"Why would I treat you like what? Just walking away instead of peeling your skin from your face? Why would you treat me like you just had? Keeping secrets and plans? Then getting mad for me finding it out! A low guard?"
She roared in frustration and anger,

"You were my Adviser! The lion I most trusted! Yet you chose to retire the position and be what you are now! Do not act as if you are something thrown away!"

Still totally out of reality, Hellhound smirked arrogantly, holding to roll his eyes to what she first said, then growled at the second things.
“It was always MY role too! Giza Msitu is my everything!

He remained in place supporting her glare with one as intense, snapping out of sanity and into anger way more than her, for Hellhound didn't believed anything she said so the words would cause pain for the only contacts he had after that huge plot and duties, after giving so much...  were show on his pelt through his scars.

“You want me to believe this? You didn’t trusted me! You asked me for plans, yet you wouldn’t develop anything about it... as if I wasn’t strong enough to take it and it wasn’t a blow I could take! That rank I accepted it because you were the Queen and said to me that you didn’t trusted any one more! Yet the first thing you believe now is that I’m betraying you!”

His eyes narrowed, lips parted, showing his fangs as well while his claws dug into the ground.

“And yes! That’s what you want to know? I would have respected you long ago if you weren’t so weak to me: the numbers of time I could have just disregarded the gizan part and just had killed you in the past... I don’t want any more of that condescending hurtful 'respect' you give me, you... you~y... filthy ~ pale ~ lion!"

His left eye suddenly twitched as he realized what he had just said, then he smiled a crazy smile.
"You want me to help you with this?" his body tensed and he raised his paw slowly, mid-way ready to swat at her and provoke this retaliation he begged for.

Nyoka was taken aback by Hellhound's words. So, that was it. The ending of a once camaraderie right here and now, all because the truth came out: he never respected her simply because of her pale fur.

Rage filled the Queen's eyes as she leapt for Hellhound, claws extended, in an aim to latch her jaws around the male's muzzle and hold on tight to his face.

She would have just let it alone, she would have walked away, but he had to keep talking...

...
had to keep digging himself into a deeper and deeper hole.

Hellhound was ready for this rage, but too aware it would go too far to just sit down and take it. His paw remaining in a ready position previously stuck her face with no more restrain of power.
“I’m not fearful of anything like pain nor death!”

He crouched down and leaped toward her, whiling to bite anything he would manage to reach, ready to tear off and peel skin like she so gently threw it out to him.

“But I didn’t knew he was! I didn’t knew anything, I didn’t wanted this!"

Beside the situation's turn, he was talking about his brother, yet that was obviously nothing Nyoka could know and as much as his angered eyes were in tears, flowing down his face now, from the hate he had to have let that insult out to a lioness he didn’t wanted to hurt, nor truly deserved it... he felt like it could be some sort of panic attack, yet now it was aggravated by the fight as his crazed eyes locked to her front paw, mouth gaping and now whiling to break it.

Nyoka did not respond to Hellhound's words. Her ferocity fueled by the hurt of his actions and even more so by his words, feeling the pressure and frustration of trying to keep order in an unstable pride that already had wavering loyalty to her despite her attempts to make Giza better than it ever was.

She felt as if her attempts were all for nothing. No matter what she did, she would never be a Queen her pride members looked up to like they had to Adilah. Feeling Hellhound's jaws clamp down on her paw, more rage flowed through her veins. The Queen lunged forward with teeth and claws, aiming to grab onto the male who now had a hold of her and pull him nearer to her so she could dig her teeth into whatever part of his face that she could get a hold of all while trying to keep her balance on three legs.

Hellhound pulled to disable her from biting his face, yet could feel her fangs sink into his shoulder. The male squinted and clenched his fangs out of pain onto her paw grinding it before letting go. He curled and pounced, aiming to dig his incisor right to her eyes with a raging roar. His eyes where of a burning red color, blinded he wouldn’t care what he was doing; only responding to her violence by an obsessive and overreacted 'defensive' aggression. However it was clear that from now there was no turning back now, as he was extending his both front legs, willing to wrap her in or let her take a hold on him, so he could crush her.

Nyoka roared in pain as she felt Hellhound's teeth grind within her paw, shredding the flesh, before he released her.

At the same moment she let go of her hold on him and pulled back just in time to avoid her two toned eye from being gouged out by his fangs. The Queen leaped up on her hind legs, meeting his own paws with hers as she attempted to push him away. But her injured paw gave way and she fell back to the ground, balancing on three legs, and arced her head up to lunge for Hellhound again... this time trying to latch on to his nearest front leg with her good leg so she could try to sink her teeth into the underside of his jaw.

Hellhound yowled out of anger as she fell down, jumping above her body, she gripped at his shoulder and his eyes became round, for a moment he contemplated her as if it was exactly what he wanted. He, then violently let his body fall over Nyoka’s intending to crush her. In the position he was now, his eyes glared at her belly and his mouth opened to just tear it open, gut her out. At the last second he stopped in his crazed track and turned to bite her side, nearer to the shoulder instead. In the position he was, he could see her quills. If it wasn’t for his pound she could turn. His claws of his right paw dug into her skin, holding her down while his hind legs curled toward Nyoka’s face, ready to just blindly scratches at her, for he knew she wouldn’t just stop there.

Nyoka grunted as her body hit the ground, opening her eyes to glare up at Hellhound's man bits as he stood over her, facing the opposite way. A pain filled roar echoed across the lands as his teeth sank into her ribs, and Nyoka thrust her good paw up to grab a hold of said man parts and squeeze them tightly.
"Release me...at once." She snarled, panting through the pain as she squeezed his parts in warning as she saw his hind paws shift in the beginning of another attack.

Hellhound yelped and was immediately immobilized as he was caught with some dirty trick and obeyed her request only to turn his head so that he could have a best sight and aim at her eyes with his hind legs. Hellhound wasn’t sure she would let go. He sheathed his claws; hitting her as to surprise her into releasing it and at the same time he would mark in the direction of her face as to teach her to put her face there.

Nyoka snorted as his paw hit her in the face, then felt something hot streamed onto her. Oh... hell... no! Lunging in fury, she would go to latch her teeth into the fleshy part of his inner thigh, kicking up with her hind legs to try to shred the flesh of his chest and belly.

Hellhound quickly used this distraction to roll back up and recoiled for she was now aiming to his belly from under him, already tearing in his leg. He bolted up, yowling, ripping the flesh that she had took a hold of, then hit her face with his hind left leg before using her face to jump away. Quickly circling and faced her again, right next to the fall... what an awful place to use to get those stupid cubs to safety, he would think while letting a deep defensive growl out.

“What?” he growled.

“You thought it was a good idea putting your face in there?!” his arrogant voice would pant while his legs were still shaking out of anger, Hellhound could clearly feel hot blood streaming down of his hind leg and shoulder.

Nyoka lunged to her paws as soon as Hellhound was off of her, shaking her head and sending droplets of urine all over the place.

"I was going to just leave it be! let you do as you wanted despite your secrets, but you couldn't leave it at that. No. Leave these lands, Hellhound."

she snarled, stumbling as she attempted to put weight upon her injured paw.

"You've insulted me, and kept secrets from me. You are no longer welcome in Giza Msitu. You are exiled."
she snarled, curling her shredded paw up as it trembled from the pain that lanced through it.
